Key programs include:

FCS Innovation Academy: Connects students from Fulton County Schools directly with industry leaders in STEM career fields. Participants gain hands-on training and develop real-world critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Corporate partners provide curriculum guidance, workshops, workplace tours, and personal coaching through mentor and internship programs.

WorkSource Fulton: A free, federally funded resource based at the North Fulton Career Center in Sandy Springs. Specialized staff assist employers with recruitment, incumbent upskilling, and funding that covers 50% or more of wages during six months of on-the-job training.

Take just one look at Fulton County demographics and you’ll find the one-million-plus in population is built on rich cultural diversity. Fulton County is 44% Black, with Asian and Hispanic residents each comprising over 8% of the population. By 2024, the Black population reached 1.14 times that of any other single racial or ethnic group.

North Fulton’s individual cities mirror this global perspective. Sandy Springs, Roswell, and Johns Creek rank among the most diverse communities in the nation, supported by a growing international population — with Asian residents making up one-fifth of Roswell’s population.
