Through partnerships with the Georgia Department of Transportation and SR400 Peach Partners the GA 400 express lane project, toll express lanes are being added to a 16-mile stretch from Alpharetta to Sandy Springs — increasing traffic flow and facilitating market access. The $11 billion project is the largest infrastructure investment in state history, with completion expected in 2031.

North Fulton is further served by five direct interchanges and Interstates 85, 75, and 285 — an east-to-west auxiliary highway running through Sandy Springs and circling metro Atlanta’s perimeter.
